More Trauma
Everything is trauma. Now a bath! Had to put her collar back on to "convince" her that she "wanted" to take a bath. Do they ever shake in the shower or do they always wait until they get out to shake all over the bathroom?

I Miss Rusty
I think she really misses Rusty. She brought that stupid rubber chicken up on the couch. Look how sad she looks. She misses the constant biting, chasing, and fighting over anything.

David and Goliath

I'm mom's "guest blogger" for today. Brought Rusty, my 10 pound terrier mix, to meet Gabby yesterday. Surprisingly, although Gabby outweighs Rusty by about 60 pounds, Rusty is the alpha dog. They love to play/fight constantly and never seem to get tired. Gabby is currently laying down on the couch with Rusty on the floor as they play tug-of-war with some carcass of a stuffed animal they found outside. This, by the way, is at 8:10 am. Super.

The morning started off with Gabby barking insanely (something she never does) at 5:45 am at some animal in the backyard. There really wasn't any going back to bed after that. So much for sleeping in on the weekend...

Raincoat Time
Does it fit? Who knows. She totally did not want to wear it. Maybe because it was about 1,000 degrees with humidity to match. I'm surprised she just didn't eat it off-her solution to everything-eat it.
Notice the haircut around her eyes so she can see. She of course, acted like I was giving her a frontal lobotomy.

The Destructo Herself
Look at that face of innocence. Who me? Dirt on the nose means she's already been digging, probably burying her biscuit that she does not like. Sorry, Milkbone, if Gabby doesn't like them, they really must taste bad because she eats EVERYTHING, including electric blankets!

Newest Destructo Item
Another item meets the destructo Gabby mouth-electric blanket sans a piece of wire that would actually make the electric blanket work. (No, it was not plugged in.) Good thing it's summer and about 95 degrees.

The Dynamic Duo
Here they are-the sled dogs. Gabby was very confused about the frequent "male" stops Fritzer had to make. I could hear her thinking, "What are you doing? Again?!! Fritzy definetly the city dog. He was not happy with the walk in the woods. In fact flatly refused to go on the bike path. Fritzer picked up the pace again on the sidewalk with the cars zooming by. Much more comfortable withthat. It was also odd, every time we came to an intersection of sorts, Fritz would go left and Gabby right. Gabby much better eyeing down the squirrels from a block away, while Fritzy in shock over seeing a deer across the street!
